Modern country style barn in the Cotswolds
Set in the countryside, this converted barn was a blank canvas with wonderful potential. This couple wanted to create an inviting weekend retreat, away from fast paced life in London. Their other objective was to create a welcoming home to bring together family and friends. In the longer term their home needed to work with family life.
With some unusually large open plan spaces it required careful thought on its layout. “Zones” were created for entertaining, dining, relaxing or simply watching TV. The result is a family home that works beautifully as a place to entertain, as well as relax.
